I mean, it's hard to say. They're both pretty equally popular bands with a lot of fans. In my own experience, I'd say I've found more people that like MGMT than Vampire Weekend, but maybe that's just me.

Yes, Joe Jonas is in the music video "Giving Up The Gun" along with many other famous faces like Jake Gyllenhaal, Lil Jon, and RZA.
YES!Their musical style is very unique (Afro-Pop/Indie Rock) and their lyrics are interesting and intelligent. Their music is complicated in a very simple way, and for the sub-culture of thinking teenagers, that's awesome.I also saw them in concert in Kansas City, and they are suprisingly great performers, one of the greatest shows I've ever attended. I hope they win the Grammy for Cousins!! And can't wait for the next album! : D

In the novel, Interview With The Vampire, Louis is reluctant at first to drink human blood like his maker, Lestat. He drinks the blood of rats for as long as he can.

Lisztomania by Phoenix. I thought those were the lyrics, too. It took me forever to find out that I was completely wrong.
