Neither. It has glow plugs and 4 fuel injectors fed by a monkey with a jerry can. He likes to wear a top hat. Call him Pablo. Pablo Engine-Monkey. And give him carrots, he likes carrots. Any provacativly shaped foods will do, actually. That's why he likes bananas. Also, fill up your blinker fluid resevoir with Unicorn sauce.
At the top of the engine. The intake needs to be removed to access the plugs on the drivers side. Since there are no spark plug wires, the coil packs need to be removed. The plugs can then be removed and replaced with new ones. See the link below for detailed instructions.

Screwed into the top of the head. each plug has its own little coil on top of it. Remove the long black plastic cover to get access to them all.
if the check engine light is on take it to a parts store and have the hook up the code reader. if not it could be spark plugs,plug wiers,or your coil. it might even go as far as bad gas. that seems to be pretty commen now a days.

you have to remove the coils off of each spark plug, than under the coil is the plug.Remove the plug as any other plug.
You have C.O.P ( coil on plug ). Just un clip the coil wire, remove the small screw and the coil is off. Spark plugs are under the coil's.
