There are many ways of getting free sheet music, probably the easiest of which is to simply type 'free sheet music' into Google, along with the name of the piece you reqire. However, this occasionally doesn't work, so here are some links to pages I have found helpful:

• http://www.gmajormusictheory.org/Freebies/freebies.html(mainly piano and guitar music, but might have some others. mainly classical)
• http://modernpianomusic.com (as the name suggests, all piano music, most of which modern. however, does charge for some music.)

• http//www.freesheetmusic.net ( various instruments, various styles)
• http//www.8notes.com (various instruments, different styles)

You can go to www.free-scores.com. That should help with some music, but I'm not sure it has the wide variety of music you may be looking for. It's worth a try. Since the website is originally in French, you may want to click the UK/ US flags in the upper-right hand corner to switch to English. Then, in the left of the screen, look for the search box and you can type anything you're looking for there. From composer to song name, it might find what you're looking for. This is the best site that I've found so far because all of the other ones charge for their sheet music downloads. Good luck.
