It is a custom-made guitar for Tom. It is composed from different parts from different brands and at this point does not even resemble any of the original parts it was made from. If you do an Internet search for "Tom Morello equipment," you will find more detailed information. Some basic information includes the fact that the original guitar was a Stratocaster body with a Performance Corsair neck.

It probably is. Yes they were made in Japan. The "PW" = 1984. The "117" is the question... I can not find the sub-model "117" under A-bolt, or any other Browning. (I have one as well!) There has to be solution. Possibly a misprint for a "717" which would indicate a "hunter" model. I believe the hunter is a basic model. To make matters worse, mine is a "RP" which = 1978... A-bolts were not made until 1984.
