Emperor trumpets were made by Boosey and Hawkes as their professional series instrument. It's a good instrument but is brighter in tone than a Strad or Yamaha.
No.
They can make good trumpets, but most of there trumpets are best used for beginner players. I highly recommend Bach especially the Stradivarius.
It depends. Student trumpets generally start around $500 and pro trumpets usually start around $1500.
Thomann trumpets are made in China. Anything from China is a gamble, sometimes they are reasonable sometimes not. but for a trumpet that costs around $200 do you expect a quality instrument? You would be better off saving more cash and getting a Yamaha student horn or purchasing a better quality trumpet second hand. Check out your local music shop and try the instruments they have in person rather than purchasing an instrument as personal as a trumpet online without testing it.
There is the Accent, Conn, Bach Stradivarius, and prodigy brands for trumpets

The answer is different for every person. The best musicians could play on a Wal Mart special trumpet and make it sound like a Monet. However, for most musicians, the most satisfaction will come from playing a high quality instrument, such as the Bach Stradivarius, or the Yamaha Xeno. Personally, I play a Bach Strad, and love it. However, my trumpet instructor swears by the Yamaha Xeno. There are several other reputable brands available, but I have found these to be the best.
I'd have to say that selmer is better quality CBS you get what you pay for
