(Please note that you should not be changing your nose screw for 6 to 8 weeks after the piercing or per your piercer's directions) # After you've removed your current nose screw, clean the area using the cleaning solution provided by your piercer. # Place the flat of your thumb inside your nose, pressing against the inner hole. This should widen the outer hole a bit, giving you a better visual on the outside to start. # Insert the pointy end of the screw into the outer hole and begin to turn clockwise, screwing in the nose screw. When you feel the tip of the nose screw on your thumb, remove your thumb and continue to turn screw until it easily slides in. As a side note, some screws need to be turned counterclockwise. Don't be afraid to try this. And practice makes perfect.
