How did brad paisley become famous?

Paisley, like most Texans, was raised on Country Music. I believe it was his maternal grandfather who gave him his first guitar and helped him learn to play it at around the age of 7 or 8. Within a very short time, Paisley had written his first song to the amazement of his parents, and the rest is history.
