How do you become a Korean singer?

A) you have to be able to sing and/or dance well ---or some kpop idols are scouted for looking good

B) you have to the pass auditions of the company that you want to join

C) if you do get scouted, you will spend your time training in that company so you are able to perform on stage ---training periods will depend on your skills and progress it can take up to 7 years and sometime in a span of 3 months

there are different companys you can audition for, like yg, sm entertainment and stuff like that.

During the summer there are kpop idol camps that you can attend. At the end of them some of the agencies send scouts to see if anyone is good enough to be trained further
