in order to change a side marker lamp on a Jeep Grand Cherokee, you must remove the actual headlamp via the bolts on top and the one underneath... fairly easily accesible. then there is one bolt on the top side ot the marker lamp and one from behind that can only be accesible after the headlamp is removed, sounds harder then it actually is, take the headlight out and it will be foolproof from there
