You can go to a instrument shop hopefully with accessories and they sell a spray bottle with a special alcohol in it. it may be green that is what color it is suppose to be. if you spray one side turn it spray the opposite side then spray the inside and it may taste weird just use it the way it is. it will wear off and do that every time you need to. Or place the mouth piece in boiling water for about 5 minutes. It will be very hot so be careful! You should do this if you got sick. They both kill the germs on the mouth piece.
