buy it on eBay to begin with...you can always get your money back on instruments if you buy them second hand they wont decrease in price, then tech yourself the basics...maybe buy an abracadabra book? it has finger charts and goes up to around grade 3. then when you really need lessons school is the cheapest place. also tell your parents that an instrument looks good on your cv and gets you extra ucas points for uni (Y) good luck! x
The Flute is a really great instrument. I played it for two years and regret not doing it for a while. Just tell your parents you REALLY have your heart set on it and that you will practice twice as much. That will probably make them consider it at least...
First start by cleaning your room without being asked, then be polite and respectful and always do what your told.when ur parents are in a good mood after you've done all this, then ask them. If they still say no, then say you might pay for a little bit of the Bass Guitar. Keep on doing this routine for any thing you want from your parents. It works!
i would convince her that i really wanted to play and maybe be in band at school or after school just i would show her i was serous about playing.
Assure your parents you're really serious about wanting to learn how to play drums. You could also offer to pay part (or even all) of the drum's price.
Be prepared to take lessons and be dedicated to learning the instrument properly.

Well,if it only has 19 keys it's not a real piano. It's actually a keyboard! Interseting Right!
The keyboard and piano are NOT the same, for a couple reasons: - The piano has a wider range. - It is more real and acoustic. - Better to practice on than a keyboard. If you are sending your child to piano lessons, it is best to buy a piano. A piano will teach them how to sit correctly, and how to actually press the notes far better than a keyboard will. And most keyboard keys are smaller than the piano's keys are, so that is not a good thing, if they want to practice right. Also, when your child reaches a higher level in piano, pieces will require more strength and power. If you happen to bang too much on the keyboard, the keys will break and the electronic sound will be damaged in time as well. However, a piano can take that kind of vigorous aggression. Hope this helped!
