To delete songs or files from an MP3 you need to delete the source on the computer. The user has to plug the MP3 player into the computer and then transfer songs from the computer to the player. Usually they use programs such as Napster or, for Apple products, iTunes.

You are going to need a laptop if the mp3 player is a bit old. If not, you can do it by holding the button you use for selecting on a song you dont want (meaning you got to do it on each one, it depends in what mp3 player you are using). You can also use a laptop for a modern mp3 player which is faster and easier.

Connect it with an USB cable. Go to my PC>Enter your media player (mp3 name) and select all the songs using your mouse to highlight them. Click delete button of your keyboard afterwards. A window message: Are you sure to delete permanently your selected files? Of course, click "yes".

I have a video editing software, TunesKit Acemovi, i always use it to delete music from my mp4, i just put the video into the timelines and right click on the video, choose 'detach the audio' , the audio will be separated，and you can delete the audio.
