Lol, had to edit, just realized you requested jazz bass.

Hmm, tough with this model, Washburns are notably warm, while Jazz basses are notably bright. You're going to need to keep your treble up at all times, but you don't want it to sound like a tin can, so give it some bass too. This is tough, and may have to be sorted out by your amp.

I hope this helps, sweet bass though. Good luck!

What is a good 6 string bass which has a slim narrow neck?

Washburn XB-926 is a good 6 string bass which has a slim narrow neck.

Should the treble be turned up or down for good bass?

There is no straightforward answer to this, as with most things in music it's good if it makes a sound you like, which is purely personal taste. In general though, raising the treble will make the instrument cut through better in a band setting, but will also potentially increase any hum or other noise in the system.

What is bass and treble?

Treble and Bass relate to the audio frequency range. In a nutshell the audible frequency range is 20H - 20,000Hz. Bass is generally in the 20 - 80HZ while 81 - 20,000 HZ fall into mid and high range frequency. So when you turn up the treble it increases the output to the higher frequency range and when you turn up the bass you are increasing the lower frequency range. What hardstyle song has the hardest bass?

Almost every hardstyle track has a decent bass kick. So the loudness of the bass will depend more on how the frequencies are equalized, then on the song itself. With an equalizer, you can make the low frequencies of sound (the bass) sound louder, so this way you can make the bass harder. When you do this, it's important to have a good sound system that can handle more electrical power. Small computer boxes will make cracking sounds when they have to play a hard bass.

I was wondering if you can play bass on keyboard and if so how?

Yes, you can play bass on a keyboard; but not necessarily any keyboard. If your keyboard supports voices, then it should have a bass(mine has fingered bass, slap bass, and acoustic bass) setting. You can then either play just the bass line on the lower end of the keyboard or if your keyboard offers split voicing you can play an accompaniment in the treble register. A good example would be The Doors. All of their "bass lines" were actually writen, recorded, and performed by keyboardist Ray Manzarek.

Has a double bass use bass or treble or other?

I believe you mean to say "Does a double bass read from bass or treble clef?" The answer to that is bassists almost always read bass clef. But very good bassists that play very high read treble clef often and sometimes tenor clef.

How do you create a good lead setting on your amp?

If ur amp has gain turn it all the way up. as far as equalization its really up to wut sounds good to you, but here are some suggestions. for a metal/thrash type sound boost the treble and bass and cut out all or most of the mid range or presence controls. for rock boost the mids and bass slightly and boost the treble a lot. if ur going for blues i would say less mids more treble. hope that helped

What are phrases for treble and bass staff?

This is not really a good question. Phrases refer to how long a musical line (musical thought) is within a piece and a staff refers to where the lined structure on which a clef (treble clef, bass clef etc...) resides.

Why do clarinets and pianos sound good together?

Probably because they are both Treble clef instruments.

What register do the treble clef and bass clef lay on an electric bass?

Typically, clef's denote staffed music, not notes on an instrument.... However if you want to be technical about it "middle C" which is the space above the middle line in the treble cleft would be found on the 17th fret of your bass. This is because the bass instrument plays the bass clef, but it is an octave below the bass clef that cellos read, and clefs were designed for orchestral instruments. If you wanted to decide where the clefs lay, a good rule is from the low C on your a-string to it's octave is bass cleff, and anything above the 5th fret on your g-string is treble clef

Does bass guitar have definite pitch?

No. Even though most people play in standard tuning, all the strings, especially the thickest one, can be changed to a different pitch and still sound incredible. There's actually many popular tunings used by many great bass players of all genre's. The key to keeping it sounding good in different tunings is how you set the Gain, Tone, Treble, Middle, Bass, Presence, etc.
