suck up your belly, then there are two choices:

1.hold your diaphragm (right underneath your ribs)

or

2.sing in (if you know what i mean ;)

[i prefer singing in]

There is a voice called your 'head voice', or falsetto. It's a sort of shrill tone you hear in a more than a few Beatle recordings like in Twist and Shout. That's one way. Otherwise, some people just have the ability. You can always work on it with a voice coach, but singers like Mariah Carey I think, have got a jump on everyone. They sing in like five different octaves. Try the falsetto.

3.Then if you start as a regular pitched note then you can totally change the pitch you once used and change your voice. That will lead you to a high pitched note :)

Why does AC DC play in half step now?

If you are referring to tuning their instruments a half step down, then it is probably to make it easier for Brian Johnson to sing the songs and hit the high notes.

Isn't mariah Carey the best singer?

Yes she was, she has a wider vocal range, and can hit higher notes than most other singers in the world. Sadly she has lost it since Glitter! she is a really good singer but not the best and yes she is one of the only people in the world who can hit those high hits without sounding bad!...... she sounds good!, while she does high notes

If a girls' vocal range is E2 through C6 and her head voice starts at B4...what vocal type is she?

Well, sopranos go commonly from C4 to C6. If that girl can REALLY hit an E2 - what I think is VERY hard to believe - then she must be an alto. I believe that was really an E3. Girls commonly think they hit an E3 while they hit an E2 - she must be and alto. The lowest note for most of altos is E3, depending on how much you practice you low notes. Her head voice allows her to hit those high notes and I think that C6 was likely a falsetto note, but depending on her technique that can be a head voice note, but generally it's falsetto. And, of course, she can be a mezzo-soprano too, depends on the color of her voice, her modal range, comfortable range, not only on all of the notes she can hit. E3-C6 = 2 octaves and 5 notes. E2 (I don't think so)-C6 = 3 octaves and 5 notes.

Can you teach yourself to sing high notes like Mariah Carey?

No. Mariah is said to have a five octave range. Chances are you don't. Most average people are lucky if they have three. If you don't have the range you cannot sing those high notes. Maybe you can sing a lower version of the notes and practice singing them that way. If you can hit the high notes then sing along with her songs and practice that way. Maybe you can hit the high notes like the ones in the song Emotions and in that case practice with the music until you can sing it without music. BTW, I have never met any adults that can hit those high notes and on pitch.

Do you have to be able to sing all notes to be a singer?

No, that's why singers are categorized based on the kinds of notes they can sing, called their "ranges". Nobody can hit every note, regardless of training, however training can help you hit more notes. In short, no you don't have to be able to hit every note to be a singer

Why do a lot of people sing bass or alto in church and you want to sing but cant cause your a first soprano what to do cause everyone cracks on the high notes and you dont should you sing or not?

If you can hit the notes, then definitely sing. And be proud that you can sing first soprano. That's an awesome position to be in in a choir. loads better than a boring bass, tenor or alto that just get drowned out by the rest of the choir.

How do men sing high?

Oh, dude, men can sing high by using their falsetto voice, which is like when they hit those super high notes but it sounds all airy and light, you know? It's basically like flipping a switch in their vocal cords to access those upper registers. So, yeah, if a guy wants to hit those high notes, he just gotta tap into his inner Mariah Carey and let it rip!

What kind of soprano is a soprano who can hit really easy and her voice gets strong when she sings high notes?

Well, I'm actually taking chorus. I'm not a hundred percent sure, but the sopranos that hit the high notes very easily and their voices get strong are usually called first sopranos.
