By much practice, practice, practice. Take a figure drawing class at school and buy a few figure drawing books and study and practice out of them. Few people are just so incredibly gifted they can just do it.

The best way to learn how to draw at home is to get a pencil and a piece of paper and practice. There is no easy way, no trick, no short-term solution. The only way is to practice. Draw what's around you, what you're feeling. Draw not only what you see but what you feel and what could be instead of what is.

I've been seriously drawing for roughly 5 years now, but I've always been drawing since I could first hold a pencil.

What most people think is that it takes talent to be an artist; however, they're wrong. All it takes is time, patience, and passion.
