Sue Klein was born in London. She first discovered her love of music, through the recorder at the tender age of 7 and at 12 went to the Royal Academy of Music where she studied Flute and Piano. She says she would have continued with the Recorder had lessons been available but at that time, they weren't. Now she teaches Recorder in a primary school and the renowned Pimlico Special Music Course at Pimlico School, and has a thriving private teaching practice, teaching both Recorder, to college entrance level, and Piano. She has performed quite widely , though now concentrates on her teaching which she enjoys enormously. She teaches the Recorder Ensemble at St John the Divine Primary School and to other talented recorder playing children. This Ensemble now has over twenty members, and has recently performed at the South Bank as participants in the Lambeth Festival. She also gives piano lessons and is enjoying her new instrument, the clarinet, and playing Klezmer.

The chorus is E, E, G, E, D, C, B.
Recorder
You should go for it. As someone who plays the flute, I'd say it's almost as easy as playing the recorder. (I say almost because you have to blow across the hole. That only takes about 5 minutes to learn.) I know that a recorder is similar to a clarinet and I know many people who play both of those instruments. It has only taken me 7 years to get up to grade 7 so just go for it!
