Sue Klein was born in London. She first discovered her love of music, through the recorder at the tender age of 7 and at 12 went to the Royal Academy of Music where she studied Flute and Piano. She says she would have continued with the Recorder had lessons been available but at that time, they weren't. Now she teaches Recorder in a primary school and the renowned Pimlico Special Music Course at Pimlico School, and has a thriving private teaching practice, teaching both Recorder, to college entrance level, and Piano. She has performed quite widely , though now concentrates on her teaching which she enjoys enormously. She teaches the Recorder Ensemble at St John the Divine Primary School and to other talented recorder playing children. This Ensemble now has over twenty members, and has recently performed at the South Bank as participants in the Lambeth Festival. She also gives piano lessons and is enjoying her new instrument, the Clarinet, and playing Klezmer.
When the Beatles were breaking up, Paul wanted to get control of his part of the Beatles. He'd thought he'd sue the manager - Allen Klein - but he was told he actually had to sue the other Beatles; he said he agonised for 6 months about suing his mates.
He didn't. Paul McCartney sued to dissolve the Beatles' business partnership, concerned that Allen Klein's management would damage them over time. (He wasn't happy about it, saying later "I felt like an arse, suing my best mates and being seen to sue my best mates.") At the time, the other Beatles were sold on Klein, and rejected McCartney's choice of manager, his new father-in-law Lee Eastman. Lennon, Harrison and Starr later soured on Klein, and the two sides sued each other, settling in 1977 with a payment to Klein of about £3.5 million. In the end, the other Beatles were thankful to McCartney, for "saving their legacy".

"My Sweet Lord" is melodically similar to "He's So Fine", recorded by the Chiffons. A judge determined that Harrison did not consciously plagiarize "He's So Fine", but likely unconsciously copied the melody. (His later song "This Song" took a tongue-in-cheek look at the case.)The lawsuit went on for years, with Harrison's manager Allen Klein actually changing sides after he bought the publishing company that owned "He's So Fine". It counted against Klein in the long run, and Harrison ultimately ended up owning both songs.
