Well, you have to understand enharmonics. an F flat would be an E, and in Trumpet pitch, would be the F Sharp major scale, and I believe it hits all or almost all accidental partials along the way.

The range of a trumpet is determined by the skill of the player. Some players can play up to a C above the staff, but many, many can play much higher than that.
To play the E scale on a guitar, you can use the open E tuning, play the scale using barre chords starting from the 6th fret, or play the scale using individual notes on the fretboard starting from the 6th fret.
