Well, you have to understand enharmonics. an F flat would be an E, and in Trumpet pitch, would be the F Sharp major scale, and I believe it hits all or almost all accidental partials along the way.

What is a Concert F on trumpet?

A concert F on a trumpet is the G note. Since a trumpet is pitched in Bb, trumpet players will always play one note above the concert pitch. Along with that trumpet players will always play in a different key from the concert pitch. Trumpet players will add two sharps to the concert pitch. i.e. If the concert pitch is Eb, 3 flats, then trumpet players will play in the key of F, 1 flat. trumpetman52

What does an f sharp sound like when playing a trumpet?

A concert F sharp (as played on a piano) is a C on an E flat alto sax.

What does pitched in F and B flat and E flat mean?

If a horn is pitched in F, then a horn player that plays the C scale on the horn is, when compared to a piano or flute or violin (which is made in concert pitch), actually playing the F scale. The horn overall is in the key of F. The same goes if it's pitched in B-flat or E-flat: the C scale will actually be the concert B-flat scale or concert E-flat scale. I hope that helps. Let me know if anything needs further explanation. =)

What is Concert B flat?

B flat concert means when a concert b flat is played, the concert pitched instruments finger a b flat and thats what comes out. For an alto saxophone to play a concert b flat, it must finger a g for a b flat to come out. a trumpet and clarinet has to finger a c.

What are the notes for the trumpet?

Trumpet is in treble clef. It is also a b flat instrument. That means in concert pitches, b flat is actually a c. E flat is an f. So starting on the F on the staff, it goes f, f sharp, g, a flat, a, b flat, b, c, c sharp, d flat, d, e flat, e, f. Added answer: A B-flat trumpet is a B-flat instrument. Trumpets are available in other keys besides B-flat.
