A typical slide Trombone has 4 parts. The bell part which is the biggest part where the sound will explode from the instrument. On the bottom curved part of the bell is a bolt/screw type mechanism where the slide connects. There are 2 parts to the slide. The inside and the outside. There will also be a small locking mechanism on the outer part of the slide that you can lock into place so the slide will not fall out of place when not in use. Then there is the mouth piece. Do not slam the mouth piece into place. Place it there gently because it will cost a fortune to have it removed.
I could not find any pictures of the individual components, but here is a site you can use as a guideline. http://www.eastmanwinds.com/trombones/trombones.htm

March steps on a trombone typically involve playing a steady rhythm that emphasizes the downbeat, often using a repetitive pattern of quarter notes and half notes. Common notes used in marching music include concert Bb, F, and Eb, depending on the key of the piece. The music often features strong, bold articulation to maintain a driving tempo. Specific arrangements may vary, so it's best to refer to the actual sheet music for precise notes.
You can find your answer over at Urban Dictionary.
This depends whether you count all the slides, valves and springs etc. Simply, the tuba has a mouthpiece and the instrument. Otherwise, it has any number of slides, depending on make, same with the valves.
In music, F is 2 1/2 steps higher than C. F# (fsharp) is 3 steps higher than C. If you're looking at a piano, F is white key to the left of the 3 black keys together and F# is the 1st black key in the set of 3 black keys together. It is also G flat

The saltarello was a dance, with leaping steps in a fast triple time. The steps are unknown, and although pictures and music exist, they are not enough to reconstruct the step. There is a link to an article below.
