How do you remove a radio from a 2001 Honda Accord?

First disconnet your battery.Carefully pry out the clock out of the middle and there is a screw back there you need to take out ,than two more screw at the bottom of the center cover. Once u take the screws out carefully pull the console out and disconnect the two ac connectors(I had to use a flat-head to get leaverage to loosen), but once that's done there are four more screws holding the radio in the frame. And just do reverse to reinstall

Ok under the radio, or the entire black section, there are two screws underneath, take them out. you might want to move your shifter back out of the way.

next pry out the clock, its real easy, use something plastic and it should pop right out. Unplug the emergency flashers and clock. Its like unplugging ne thing in the car, push down on the tab on the top and pull. There is a screw behind it, take that out.

NOTE:YOUR BLINKERS WILL NOT FUNCTION WITH THE EMERGENCY FLASHER BUTTON UNPLUGGED. ALWAYS PLUG IT IN BEFORE DRIVING.

next you can either pry off the whole black peice, you could also reach under the radio from were the first two screws were and pull from the bottom, you can be rough it will come out.

although there will be two clips at the top, lol I have done this 100 times and still have yet to figure them out, I usually just pull.

next reach around and unplug the 2 climate conrol plugs

next there are four screws holding the radio in, take thoes out, pull the radio forward and unplug the wireing harness, and the antenna, and your done!

NOTE:IT IS A COMMON PROBLEM FOR THE CLIMATE CONTROL LIGHT TO BURN OUT WHEN PREFOMING THIS PROCEDURE.
