If it's like my '95 (which it should be), the entire headlight assembly just pops out. There are three connectors: two in the bottom corners and one in the top outside corners. They may be difficult to pull out, but just keep pulling. They'll come out.

What does the differential do in a 1989 Jeep Grand Cherokee and what happens if it doesn't work and or go out?

Please, rephrase the question. You say you have a 1989 Jeep Grand Cherokee, but the Grand Cherokee did not come out till late 92, but was considered a 93 model. If what you really have is a 1989 Cherokee, we need to know the motor size. The rest we can look up and give you the best answer possible.

How do you find where the Cherokee tribe came from?

Cherokee's believe that they were created here. Scientist say that they came here as part of the migration during the last ice age.ANSWER:Scientists do not say specifically that the Cherokee traveled to the Blue Ridge Mountains during the last ice-age. In fact, many anthropologists are at odds when it comes to the origins of the Cherokee, some believe they migrated east from the Texas area, and others believe they migrated south from the New England area. Either way, the Cherokee, as we know them, did not form until the 17th and 18th centuries, after the break up of the Mississippian Era Chiefdoms. In all reality, the ancestors of the Cherokee were part of the Coosa Chiefdom and split form them and formed their own tribe after the collapse of the Coosa Chiefdom.
