Easy job on the 2002. Turn the two center air vents down and look inside above them. You will see a screw in each. Remove the screws and the face plate will come off. The radio is then bolted into the dash and can easily be removes. I hope no car radio theives are reading this!

remove the trim plate around the heater control radio assembly take the three screws out of radio to dash brackets slide radio out and unplug it

Pull knobs off for air and fan control. Remove 2 screws. Gently work cover off. To remove radio: remove 4 screws then pull radio straight out. Unclip radio wiring harness and antenna wire.

you have to remove the pastic face plate that surrounds the radio unit, (few screws) once done remove the face plate, and should have 2 bolts holding the radio in undo those and pull out radio then disconnect wires accrodingly
pull the cover plate off by hand,then remove the bolts then the radio will pull right out.
