VERY CAREFULLY is the first answer. The part for V8s is driover side lower corner inside fan schroud. I've done cooling system work several times and always had trouble with the cheap A.. plastic drain cock. Just broke mine. Hope like hadies it can be replaced.
Open it then pull it out it has two tips on the end of it.
pass side radiator not all the way down on the side. i think you can get at it if you take the light bezel off the right headlight. 4 scews has the turnsignal light in it. ...actually, remove the grill, not the light bezel.
If your are facing the front of car, the drain cock is on the lower right-hand side of the radiator. It's plastic.
the line is a quick disconnect. Take a pair of pliers and GENTLY squeeze the white tabs going into the rubber part of the line. As you are squeezing, pull on the rubber piece of the line and it should come right off. Same thing for the transmission end of the line.

I have a 2000 Pontiac Grand AM and radiator drain cock is located at the lower/front (not bottom) at the curbside of the radiator, you will need a hex key to back out petcock.

there should be a drain cock on the bottom of the radiator not positive on what side but it will be on the bottom corner motor side of the radiator
Easiest way is to just pull off lower radiator hose. Other option is theres a drain cock on the passenger side of the radiator where u can also drain it but it makes a mess.
Look at the bottom or rear of the radiator
The Radiator drain is located on the passenger side of the vehicle, behind the grille. Remove the grille by removing the eight [8] screws located in the front of the grille. Pull top of grille forward and lift out and away from vehicle. The Drain Cock is located at lower left of radiator.
take the radiator cap off and losen the drain cock on the bottom of the radiator

If it is not on the bottom of the radiator, then just remove the lower radiator hose to drain the system.

With the vehicle cold, locate the drain cock on the bottom of the radiator which is a T-shaped bolt. Remove the radiator cap and loosen the drain cock. Tighten the drain cock and refill with half coolant and half water then run it and keep filling the radiator.
