Press th P.SCAN and RBDS buttons simultaneously and hold them down until "1000" lights up in the display.Release buttons.Do not, under no circumtances, continue holding them down or press them once again. For a 1998 Audi Quattro with a Delta radio, the button combination is DX and FM1/2.
Call Audi of America 1-8008222834, you will need vin # ( off your registration or inside dash near drivers side visible through windshield )) and your auz # located in two places . The 1st in the wheel well of your spare tire in trunk. the 2nd the bottom of radio.( which requires removing radio from dash and turning over) Take your pick, this part is the hard part. Now the good news after a brief registration with your Audi rep and then reading them those 2 #'s you will get your code FREE of charge. I ran across a site that wants 79.95 for this info , or you can go to the Audi dealer and they will do same for a service charge. So try and locate the auz# which is the hardest and you will be set.

Along with the original car owners manual you should have a radio manual including a card (credit card size) that has the correct "code" number for your radio - usually a 5 digit number. If you do not have the code then you need to visit a BMW dealer who will check your radio's serial number and look up the matching code.
Once you have the code you can; switch on the radio, do not touch any other buttons but enter the code into the radio using its memory number buttons. The radio should "beep" after you enter the last digit and then work as normal. Three failed attempts and you may need to disconnect the car battery, wait for 10 minutes or so, then reconnect the battery and re-enter the code.
A last resort could be to disconnect and reconnect the car battery and then start the car, set up the clock, turn on the radio but DO NOT enter the code, leave the car running (in a well ventilated area) or go for a drive with the radio "on" for 1 hour and 15 minutes continuous (minimum) and then finally entering the code.
Failing all that - see a dealer.
Call an Audi dealership and ask the parts and repair department
You click the save button twice and then power on and off
I own a 2000 Audi A6 The battery was changed & I can not find the radio code to release the safe mode My vin # is WAUEH24B2YN010658 Any help would be greatly appreciated thankyou Bruce Klein
As I know you have to push 2 button on the same time ( RDS and TA or TP I1m not sure)for 2 or 3 sec. Than appear four line. Now you have to type in the code the following way. if your code is 2356 you have to push the button number 1 twice. After you have to push the button 2 three times and so on. I hope you understand I'm hungarian, and my English not the best . Bye

It depends on the player. A cellist who only knows first position can only go up to a D4. The highest pitch that can be played with the left hand touching the fingerboard is an A6, but the cello can go higher.

You will need to take the 2006 Audi A6 to a mechanic to have the service light properly reset. In some cases, a person can undo the battery to reset the light.
I have an 1996 Audi Quattro A6 i changed my batteri and my radio went to safe mode. How do i get my radio off safe mode?
On the 2001 Audi A6 its on drivers side behind a panel on left of dash board.....
You have to call your nearest Audi dealership and address your problem to them. Have your VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) ready. They will ask you for it. If the radio is not originally from the car, you will have to have the serial number to the radio ready. They will after tell you the code via phone.
The service indicator on an Audi A6 can only be reset with something called the VAGCOM. One may be found on line but it would be better to take in into an Audi dealership or authorized mechanic because more damage can be caused.
You need VAGCOM software to do so.
by going to an AutoZone store and having them reset it with their handheld computer system that plugs directly into the information port under the dashboard on the drivers side
