When you shave, your hair appears thicker and more coarse, but that's not actually the case. I would however suggest waxing. It's a tad painful, but when waxing, you're pulling the hair completely out of the follicle, which means your hair will come back slower. You're temporarily paralyzing the follicles, which stops the hair growth, temporarily. I hope that helps.
