First take off the ligature, then take the reed and put it in a reed case. Then remove the mouth piece and the barrel. And finally take off the last two parts and there you go.
The best clarinets are wooden. Wooden clarinets are black. The colored ones are probably plastic, and I doubt they sound very good.

The extended barrel comes off with 1 screw on it.....not sure which though so take all of the ones off that are on it as none of the important internal objects are on it, or have fun with your hacksaw.

By designer are you asking what Model it is? If so, the Model can be determined by the serial number, which is located on the barrel flats and the forend. You have to take the barrel off the receiver to see them.
no the colored clarinets dont last as long as black ones
