You can put a turbo on your nissan but have the psi turn down to 5 psi if everything is stock, you should be fine. Then you'll have more pick up but the problem is you'll have to make room for your turbo by removing your fans in front or find a place to mount your turbo.

A stock Volvo 740 turbo can typically handle around 10-15 psi of boost safely, depending on the specific engine condition and modifications. However, with upgrades such as a better intercooler, fuel injectors, and a more robust engine management system, it can handle higher boost levels, often up to 20 psi or more. Always ensure that supporting modifications are in place and that the engine is in good condition to avoid damage.
