I DON'T KNOW WHY DO YOU THINK I'M ASKING
When I had this problem I just went to a local Jeep dealership and they gave me a print out.
If you do not have a sunroof, check/reseal the bolts that hold the luggage rack down.
I've got one.
TAke it to an auto trim shop. To work on a sun roof and keep it from leaking is very hard.
anything with a 1/4in female jack
Type your answer here... The electric sunroof moves forward and backwards fine, in the last year it won't raise to seal against metal.
how does the sunroof work on a 1984 posche There are several electrical relays for the sunroof. I'd recommend going to: http://www.clarks-garage.com/ look up sunroof.
use a test light check your fuses
take down you electric sun roof down and put a manual one where you put the electric one
Get the button fix then it will work. Or try to put something strong over it the sunroof.
Most probably the wire moving it up and down broke. You should have a way of manually close and open the sunroof, try that and if it doesn't work than it's the wire if it does there's something more complicated.
Take it to an automotive trim shop, It is about impossible to work on a sunroof and not make it leak
did you check ur fusebox to see if the fuse burnt out ?? , or ur sunroof motor is bad
Sorry, but the 02 model sunroof differs from the 92-93 sunroof. size, demisions, etc. a sunroof from any EX/SE 90-93 should work.
To reset the sunroof you must push the sunroof switch up and hold it for a few seconds then turn it to fully opened, then to closed.
Had the same problem on my 2000yr TD. The black wire was broke which runs between the door and A post which seems to be a common problem as its always flexing with the door opening and shutting, but I was suprised how many functions this affected!
Go to the J30 DIY section on fuzzycats.com. There are detailled step by step instructions in doing repair work to a J30 sunroof. Warning it is labour intensive work.
