These two instruments produce sound in very different ways. I imagine it would be as hard to learn as your first instrument.
Some people could argue that it would be easier to learn the Trumpet because you already know how to read music.
Others could argue that it would be harder to switch instruments because you have to ignore everything you know about making sound on a Saxophone.

I think that the sax is cooler. It's partially because I play the alto sax, but I think the sax is easier too.

Well I play both trumpet and saxophone. I started out on trumpet and grasping the embochure is not really all that hard but it may be difficult for a sax player to change octaves on trumpet. I'd say that changing octaves on trumpet is the hardest part. You would also need a good lung capacity. Here are some things I recommend getting before you begin playing: 1.)valve oil(this could be lamp oil in a small empty drop bottle with 1-3 drops of machine oil mixed in) [this is also cheaper] 2.)slide grease(Vaseline will do fine) 3.)possible mouthpeice & snake brush 4.)possible polishing cloth the last two are optional
Sax, not trumpet

The trumpet. Look at the time Sax players spend licking their reeds and retuning. My trumpet was tuned at the factory nuff sed! besides who wants a trumpet player sat behind them playing Fforte in their ear!
The answer is yes
trumpet / sax
* Trumpet * Tenor Sax

He played trumpet, Clarinet and Alto Sax! :)
No, the tenor horn is from the trumpet/brass and the tenor sax is from the woodwind. They are also in different keys. The tenor horn is in Eb like the alto sax.
The main thing is a sax is a woodwind instrument, played by using a reed, and trumpet is a brass instrument, using a cup shaped mouthpiece with no reed. Also, the trumpet has (normally) 3 valves, where as a sax has 10 or 12 keys (don't know exactly).
