it depends on how fast your computer is. EDIT: I'm not sure either as I've been wondering much the same, but it's my impression whoever "answered" this question missed the point entirely. An iTunes request is a user-submitted request to Apple for the addition of content into the store's catalog, such as a song or an album. For example, the American iTunes store is woefully incomplete with regard to foreign content & gives us a distorted view of what is available. None of this has anything to do with the internal clock speed or processing power of the hardware on an end-user's computer. If anyone else ACTUALLY knows, please answer this question. Thank you.
