Lots of factors involved:
I have some inexpensive (less the $20) ukuleles I purchased used that will stay in tune for a week with moderate playing. But the first few days of new strings I had to tune daily.
It depends on whether you order a standard mass produced model or a custom made one. In most cases the ukulele will be shipped within a few days of order. If you order a custom made one, it will take 6 to 8 weeks once the luthier starts. Some makers have waiting lists of many years.
Properly constructed, there is no reason an ukulele can't last for centuries. There are ukuleles that were build by the original creators of the instrument still in existence. Many feel that the older instruments mellow as the stresses in the wood relax over time. There are many violins that are still being played that are over 200 years old.
I have an 85 year old ukulele that sounds great!
It depends on whether you start with a kit or from scratch. I know people that have made an ukulele in a single day, and most of it was waiting for the glue to dry.
