Madonna has been a singer since 1984. she got the idea of starting to sing when she was 12 and started playing the tuba. the relized if she played the tuba so well, she mine as well start to sing along. she would write songs and then play along with the tuba. by age 19 she was introdused the a music producer (Unknown) who set her up for a record deal. she became popular when her first CD came out called "Holiday."
