Speaking from personal experiences I've seen many different Marching Bands that range in sizes from very small to very large.

There are many small bands that contain only 20-30 people total and some bands that contain 300+ members. While those large bands can be really impressive, I have seen numerous smaller bands that were immensely talented and performed just as well if not better than larger bands.
