Dame Jacqueline Wilson has certainly achieved a lot in her writing career spanning around a decade. Born on the 17th of December 1945, Jacqueline has written a number of Children's Books such as The Suitcase Kid, Clean Break and The Story of Tracy Beaker in 2002. She was first awarded The Whitbread Book Award for The Story of Tracy Beaker then later in 2004 she was awarded The Smarties Book Prize and The Children's Book Award all in one year. Then in 2006 Jacqueline was awarded an OBE for her amazing writing skills. But surely her crowning glory was when she was knighted by Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth The Second in 2008, becoming the now God-like author, Dame Jacqueline Wilson.
