Gina James is a billed Outlaw Country Singer who was managed by Porter Wagoner and produced by Porter Wagoner. Together, they also wrote and recorded together as well as doing road date's. For a time she stared with Porter at the Opry as a Wagoneer with Porter's segment's along with Ld. Money (lead guitarist and back up vocalist with Randy Travis prior to Randy retiring in Hawaii!) and Danny and Drew and Fred Newll, (JUST TO NAME A FEW OF THE GUY'S THAT WAS PLAYING WITH HIM AT THAT TIME),in the mid 90's, Gina James and Porter would later be engaged by the mid. 90"s. At that time Porter would move her into his Nashville Mansion where they would lived together on Pennington bend in Nashville TN. This was a time that Porter's closest friend's stated that Porter was the happiest with his life they'd ever seen him! With Gina, a stunning beauty Queen with the ability to entertain in a way he was quoted saying "few female vocalist could compete at her level of abilities she's every man's dream and what all other girl's wanted to be'! "She is the total package, with her beauty and belting out vocal's and her ability to entertain large masses to a room of only hundreds people just gravitate to her"! Although they were very much in love, Gina would leave him eventually, She has stated in interview's that "I have loved him since I we met , when I was little more than a teenager and that will never change, There were so much evolved with the reason's I had to leave him, none had anything to do with him or I"! " I will forever love him"! Several failed attempt's of her leaving the mansion would happen yet, Porter making a call to Gina's beloved father Edward Foster and dear friend to Porter finding out as to where she'd gone by a simple call to him and he'd fly right away to her and soon she was back by his side. However Gina was married at a very young and tender age of fifteen and one year and four day's later became a mother. "That marriage at such a young age soiled me on marriage period and I wish so that it had never happened, as it was stormy too say the least"! "I know now that at fifteen and only being able to date once a week , you don't even know who you are yet, and you really don't know who would make a proper husband"! She missed being a Mother and out on the rd. She did make the split to become a full time mother eventually and this would rock Porter's world and Gina's also. Through the many year's despite the almost 50 year age difference and they would resume their life together many time's. Yet, he always continued to manage and produce her. With three chart topping song's!
