yes probably because i have a 20 fret and 24 fret bass and the frets on my 24 fret are much closer.also, on my 24 fret is says on the package:medium frets. and on the 20 fret has bigger frets so i presume that the 20 fret has "large frets"

Violas do not have frets. Nor do violins or cellos. Frets are found on stringed instruments such as guitars.
Your question is badly written. There are no frets on a fretless bass. Most fretless basses have markers for where the frets would be. They are either lines on the fingerboard, or dots on the side. You could count the marks to see how many fret positions there are.

The fretboard of a stand-up double bass has a rounded face, whereas fretted bass guitars have a flat fretboard. So there is no good way to install frets on a stand-up double bass.

Guitars with fanned frets have frets that are angled, allowing for longer scale lengths on lower strings and shorter scale lengths on higher strings. This can improve intonation and playability, especially for extended range guitars. Normal frets have a consistent scale length across all strings.
