A Trumpet is a perfect fifth (P5) higher than a horn. Another way to say it is that there's 7 half-steps in-between them.
For example, if you wanted the trumpet pitch for the horn's G, you would go G-A-B-C-D or G-G#-A-A#(Bb)-C-C#-D.
Hope this helps!!
No. A marching french horn, also called a mellophone, has a shape more like a trumpet with a large bell facing forward. A "regular" french horn has the bell facing backwards. You use your left hand to play the french horn and your right hand to play the mellophone. Fingering also changes to that identical to a trumpet, or a B-flat Horn (the E's and D's are fingered differently). Some mellophones are made to be used with a trumpet (cornet) mouthpiece, but there are adapters you can use to use your horn mouthpiece. Other mellophone are made to be used only with a horn mouthpiece.
Trumpet Baritone Trombone Tuba French Horn Fugel Horn Cornet Those are all I can think of right now
Short answer: Yes. Long answer: Yes. Longer answer: Many people who start on the trumpet end up changing instruments (sometimes french horn, baritone, trombone, or tuba). However, the most popular instrument is still the trumpet.
There are quite a lot of brass instruments, the main ones which be used in orchestras are: Trumpet, Trombone, French Horn and Tuba. But there's also: Cornet, Euphonium, Alto Horn, Bugle Horn and Baritone. Then there's unusual brass instruments like the Sudrophone and the Ophicleide. Brass instruments don't need to be made of brass, so there's also the Alphorn, the Serpent and the Didgeridoo etc. Most of these instruments can be got in different keys. For example, the Cornet is usually got in Bb. But you can get them in Eb (A Soprano Cornet) and C.
There are many brass instruments smaller than a tuba, because the tuba is the largest of the brass instruments. The instruments smaller than it in order from largest to smallest are: Baritone Horn, Euphonium, Trombone, Trumpet, Cornet, Piccolo Trumpet.

Trumpets don't have to be made of brass, many are made of horn. It's a wind instrument so yes it is a form of Trumpet.
before the Trumpet looked like it looks today, it when through many steps. the trumpet works by the same physics a shofar works on. a shofar is a rams horn that people blow into to make a noise. a rams horn was the first example of a trumpet. over time, people decided to use the physics of a shofar to make an intrument. that was how the first trumpet was made. originally, the trumpet did not have any keys. people played by adjusting there lips and by blowing harder and softer. then, two keys were added to the trumpet to adjust the pitch. eventually people added three keys to the trumpet and learned to play with out adjusting there lips and by pressing the keys. even today, a trumpet still works just the way a shofar works.

The Trumpet perhaps. There are many instruments that are quite compatible with the church organ: violin, viola, cello, french horn, oboe, and yes even the saxaphone.
