If you do not pay the South Carolina ticket or show for court, the court will issue a warrant for your arrest. If you show for court, the judge will usually allow you additional time to pay or set up a payment schedule for you. Ignoring a South Carolina ticket is not in your best interests.
Each state has their own laws regarding the consequences for not paying the fines on a ticket. They often result in late fees and other additional costs. Additionally, that state will send information to the state in which you hold a drivers license, causing the state to suspend it. Furthermore, depending on the severity of the case, you could be held in contempt of court and be arrested.
The speeding ticket can cost $250, depending on taxes and fees. As many as 4-5 points can be applied, depending on if the state will offer classes to lower it. Yes, the insurance will be affected, and probably raised.
Probably around $120. When I get a ticket I ALWAYS go to a lawyer. They can talk to the court and most likely get your ticket down to a non-moving violation and there fees aren't much more than what you would be paying for the ticket in court. Plus a Non-moving violation does not put points on your license so your insurance company won't even know about speediing ticket. And in the long run your insurance won't go up. That's where you will save the most money. So talk to a lawyer at least!!
It is important to drive the speed limit for everyone's safety. A speeding ticket in Texas will cost anywhere from $150-$200+, it depends on the court costs and all the fees of the state and county.
= What is the fix it ticket rate in Florida?? = As of Feb 20, 2009, the court fees is 10$ in Alachua County (for proof of insurance fix-it).
The ticket probably increased in cost because the judge added court costs because you went to court. There may be other fees added on such as late fees.
Fines and fees are set by the local court.

Well in Colorado, its a 500 dollar fine, they also might impound your car. On top of that, they make you get sr-22 insurance. So its going to be very expensive. These days its cheaper to have insurance, because if you get caught with out, it ends up being more expensive after court fines, impound lot fess, and your sr-22 insurance fees.
I am not sure of how the prices are set in state of Illinois, but what I do know is that my 18 year old brother received a $500.00 ticket for not having insurance. So I would think twice before getting into a car that is not insured. Also, the ticket MAY be reduced if you show up on the court date that was given to you. Once again that is a maybe. I was charged with failure to provide proof of insurance and I live in IL. In this state we get TONS of people driving without insurance so there is a class or something you can take if you plead guilty normally they will olny make you pay for the class and court fees which is about 130 bucks if its your first offence I'm pretty sure its a form of diversion. If you don't go to the court date however, a warrent is issued for your arrest and your licence is automatically suspended. Either way you can work something out with the judge if that class isn't offerend in your part of IL worst case you have to send the circut clerk 20$ a month until your 500 plus court fees are payed off.
The issueing officer told me it would be about $20, but when the bill came home it was a whopping $132. I called the court and they said the officer forgot to mention about all the other fees such as; processing, court, security fees.
The consequences for the second ticket are the same as for the first ticket. A hefty fine and fees now totalling over 900 dollars along with drivers license suspension

It depends on where you are when you get the ticket. The fines and associated punitive fees for driving without insurance are determined by each jurisdiction. Generally you can read the back of your citation for contact and payment for your jurisdiction.
