if you are referring to finger 'cymbals' - the answer is - as much money as you can afford - or - on the other end, i've seen them at the dollar store. the dollar store finger cymbals are of very poor quality, but if your budget is tight and you're only going to use them for practice, or to learn on - or use them as a prop or for decoration - they're fine. they go up in price from there, as does the quality and sound - just like anything else... but before you spend a lot of money, i'd advise you to shop around - do a little research, compare both quality and price - a little time on eBay, among others, is always time well spent. taking notes (just like in school) is also a time/money saver...
Much like almost any instrument, you can play melody or rhythm (or both at once, depending on your skill level) on the chimes.
The Chimes was created in 1844.

The Tubular bells (or Chimes) originated in the 1880s
Choir chimes are similar to hand bells, but with a few significant differences. They are lower cost, easier to play and without the maintenance issues associated with hand bells. They are basically a tuning fork with a small mallet attached, and they ring with the flick of a wrist.

Finger monkeys are tiny little monkeys that aren't much bigger than a human finger while small but they do tend to grow a bit bigger. They can cost anywhere from $1000-$10,000 depending on the species and the dealer but they also cost a lot of time, patience, and care. Be sure to research them fully prior to purchasing a monkey.
