used a minimum of 600$ online , over 1000$ new in stores. Go with LTD , ESP , Schecter , Agile or Jackson something along those lines that make an affordable say Les Paul or SG. Gibson is extremely over rated and their sales pitch is well if it's that expensive it must be good. Where as all those import companies make incredible Guitars that are like half the price. I've owned 30 guitars and never liked a Gibson.
