The Vito Reso-tone is a great instrument for beginners. I play Vito Reso-tone Bass Clarinet, I've played a regular Vito clarinet as well.
Vito is one of Leblanc's brands and are good quality beginning to intermediate instruments.
$80-$300 used, depending on condition.
Condition make a big difference. They often sell for as low as $50~75. A plastic Vito (or Normandy) in good, clean condition, and ready to play might range from $100 to $200, a little more for something real special.

Leblanc, under their Vito product line, made a plastic model called the Dazzler which came in a variety of colors. The Vito is an excellent clarinet and it is still possible to find one, but not particularly easy. Every other brand I've seen that comes in colors other than black are cheaply made items from China or Taiwan.
