Buffet Crampon clarinet B12?
They are great clarinets. Buffet is a long standing company. You have to check to know if the clarinet you are buying is made either in France or Germany. The B12 made in France is obviously better, but they stopped making them long time ago. The B12 made in Germany is a decent instrument. Just try to stay away from knockoffs.

The only difference is metal bell ring at the large end of the bell. B12 has it, B10 doesn't.

No. I have heard that you can break those clarinets in half easily. Are you looking for a beginning clarinet? If you are to get any clarinet, I would invest a little bit more money and buy a brand like Selmer, Yamaha, or a Buffet B12. Those are good brands for a beginning clarinetist.

Would you recommend buying and playing a Buffet B10 clarinet?
I bought 4 B10s for my school band program about 4 years ago. I'm very happy with them. That being said, for a few dollars more you can get a B12 which has the double fish skin pads instead of the Valentino pads on the B10. It might be worth the extra money to get the B12.

Yamaha, Jupiter, leblanc Bliss and Opal are good! But I highly recommend Buffet Bb Clarinets! Buffet B12 - is plastic and great for beginners Buffet E13- Is amazing and great for advanced players and even semi-professionals!! They come at a price though! I hope that helps!
