Ok. What you'll need -
New Radio/Cd player & etc.
New dash board kit (you could find one on ebay)
Wires...(for me on this part problems starts...)
To remove dash board you'll need only something what will go by the sides(i was using a knife) and press, that's all - these part is easy. Remove bolts disconnect father plug from old radio, antenna and be happy for a moment =) After find out that new radio kit wire have a lil bit different colours than yr car plug...
The way i ind is to connect cable by cable according to old pins
So check out the plugs mothers

so if you have working radio plug it connect close dash board - and be happy...

for what year? if it is 98 and up you take the top vents out and the bottom ash tray. you will see 2 screws on top on 2 on bottom. after you unscrew those the radio and climate control come out together.

I am almost positive.
With my xg 300, the radio was turning on and off on it's own. I checked the battery and it was bad. Replaced it. Now it's fine again. Go to auto parts store and have your battery checked just in case. Could also be loose battery cables.
