Start by opening your glove box. Then remove the two screws holding the plastic panel that moulds around the radio all the way to your steering wheel. These are on the left side behind the glove compartment door.

After these screws are removed, you can simply slide the large plastic piece out towards the passenger side. From here on it is simple. Unscrew the 4 or so obvious screws from the front of the radio, and gently pull the radio forward until you can reach around the back. Unplug the harness (many wires ending in a connector plugged into the back of the radio). Don't forget to use the push tab on harness to release it from the radio. Then pull out the black radio wire from the right side of the stereo. This can be snug, but has no locking mechanism or tab, so just give it a good pull.

Voila, your radio is out. Now putting a new one in, that's a different question, and much more of a pain. Good luck!
