Turn key to Accessory position, and leave it there for approximately 2 hours. That is the ONLY way to reset it once too many codes have been incorrectly entered
Leave the radio turned on. After several times (usually 30 minutes), it should reset itself. Please note that 10 invalid attempts to enter the code will lock the radio completely.
the easiest way to do this is by disconnecting the battery for about 3 minutes and connect it back. Make sure you have the radio code before doing this because after the radio resets it will ask for the code. This method will also reset the GPS in the car and the GPS will also ask for the code to turn on.
I have the same problem with my 1994 GT. I was told you have to go to the Mitsubishi dealer and have them reset the stereo. So I called Mitsubishi and they want $120 to do that. If you know a more economical method to reset the stereo, I would love to hear it. The way I got my code without having to pay for it was when I took my car to the dealer the tech left the lights on over night so the battery died. When I went to pick it up they had to reset the radio...so they had to suck up the fee. Once you have the code you use the channel stations to enter the number once code is entered you just hit the am/fm button. I do know that when the dealer had to call and get the code they gave it to me and did tell me it was at least $100 to get the dumb code normally. Might as well just pay the price. But I think you need the radio out as well to give them the serial number. Not very user friendly...hence the anti-theft.
CBC radio 3 is available to listen to on the music website itself CBC radio 3 or through the itunes website. CBC radio 3 is also available on twitter.
Depending on the type of unit (Starmate, Sporster etc) Hard reset means pressing MENU, then going to the SIRIUS ID and display it. Then pressing DISPLAY and then MEMO and then BAND. It might take 2-3 tries, but that resets the lock code and the entire unit.
the radio goes into "off" mode anytime 3 wrong security codes are entered. The dealer has to reset it although I just read a string that said if you leave the door open for an hour with the key in the on position, the radio will reset and you can enter the seciryt code. If you don't have the ode, contact a Mitsubishi dealer
Take you car-radio out. Get the serial # off the top of your radio. Call your Mitsubishi dealer, tell them you need a code, then give them your radios serial #. You should get a code too input. Should be a free-of-charge service. been told (haven't tryed) mess up 3 times - leave ignition on, radio on, engine not running for 45 minuted - should reset.
In order to reset the radio code for VW Beta 3 radio, you will need to know the make and model of the vehicle. You can call your local VW dealer with that information and they can supply you with the necessary code.
I reset mine by removing the radio fuse and leaving it out for 3 hours before reinserting it. After reinserting the radio fuse, the radio will then accept your code unique to your radio.
disconnect negative of battery for 3 + minutes.
I reset my be removing the radio fuse from the fuse box to the left of the instrumentation panel, and then replacing it 3 hours later. It would then accept the code unique to my radio.

I have a 98 diamanti and the chilton book says while entering the radio codes, you only have three chances to get it right. After that, it has to be taken to a dealer. If you have about an hour of free time all you have to do is turn your key to the acc position on ignition and leave the car for about 45 minutes this should reset radio again. do this while the car is not running.
