Depending on the type of unit (Starmate, Sporster etc) Hard reset means pressing MENU, then going to the SIRIUS ID and display it. Then pressing DISPLAY and then MEMO and then BAND. It might take 2-3 tries, but that resets the lock code and the entire unit.

I don't think so. I use the FM antenna that comes with the Sirius radio to broadcast a signal to the FM radio. The problem here is that the built-in antenna on the Windstar is a piece of junk. It barely works as is. I have been told that there is a small amplifier in the right d-pillar that amplifys the antenna signal to the radio. If this is bad or if power has been lost, reception is reduced. I have not found evidence of this amplifier on the schematics. This does not however mean it isn't there. Good luck. I will follow up after I have had a chance to look at the antenna system in more detail. Carl
Fail 5 means mean that the radio is not detecting the COMCSEC CCA. This is usually due to the radio's COMSEC knob being in the PT position.
By radio code I assume you mean the preset buttons. To do this you:- tune the new frequency you want to use- press and hold the preset button to which you want to assign this frequencythe radio will go silent for a couple of seconds but when it starts playing again the frequency has been assigned to that buttonorthe radio will continue playing and there will be a 'beep' when the assignment takes place. This is a very common procedure for many makes of car radios
Do you mean 'Who made the first radio?'? Several people were experimenting with radio transmission, among them Marconi and Hertz.
If you mean reset button there is none. If you mean radio presets then they are right there on the radio face plate. They are numbered and easy to see.
probably anti theft - need code to reset
it means that you can reset your game to the menu by pressing A+B+Y+X+L+R. its hard but it will work
quite possible if cd is stuck this code will appear

If by fix your sirius you mean how to get over sirius dying is I think think about all the other greatn characters that are in Harry Potter or you can think about how cruel it was that sirius was trapped so it might of been better the way it was.
If you mean the radio reset code, you need to contact the dealer if you don't have it. There is no way around it unless you have someone with a connection to a dealership. No one can just give you this unless you have the two series of codes that are specific to the radio, which are retrieved by pressing certain radio buttons in sequence (sometimes it tells you how to do this in the manual).
Tuner error on Sirius radio means that there is a conflict with the channels initializing. This usually happens when there is a tremendous amount of static or electronic interference in the area. The problem, however, can also stem from the transmitter not being able to connect with wireless, car, or stationary radios. This issue usually resolves itself within a little while, and allows users to access all their favorite channels again.
The radio unit will need the security code If you disconnect the battery from your vehicle. The radio will reset, thinking it was stolen out of the car, and will require the security code before it will work again.
What you described tells me that the power was cut off completely for a moment, long enough to reset the radio. Check your battery connections, make sure they are clean and tight.
If you mean reset the computer: remove the battery negative cable for a few minutes. If youhave security codes on the radio write them down before removing the cable. Replace the cable and the ECM should be reset.
If you mean to reformat the hard drive, you need to insert your copy of your operating system recovery CD and reboot the computer.
