Best Answer

Critics saw 'The White Album' in various different ways when it was first released. Critics viewed the songs, initially, as unimportant and quite turbulent to the political and social climate. After selling over 30 million records the album is now seen as one of the greatest of all time by critics and all views from when it was first released are forgotten.
