Hmmm.....
Usually on auditions for musicals you either have to sing a song from the musical or you're free to choose whatever song you'd like, so I would (if that's the case) choose a song I knew well, liked extremely well and can sing backwards, so to speak....
But if it has to be from a musical I would just advice you to take your favorite song from any musical and sing it ;-)
Either way I can't tell you what to sing, you have to choose for yourself, you have to be comfortable with the song in every way, you know ;-)
But here are some songs you might try if you are comfortable with- and like them:
I hope the answer was satisfying, and I wish you good luck on the audition, break a leg ;-)
there are many dance styles used in west side story. jazz, ballet, musical theartre and even some tango. but the styles of dance used in west side story look different to what they look like now.
He could, but likely wouldn't.
If you were to look at the genre of a song from the Lion King on, say iTunes, it would describe it as either "Broadway", "Musical", or "Soundtrack". Though this is true, all of these genres (which pretty much mean the same thing) can be further split into Musical genres. Lion King could be classified as Musical Contemporary (based on the musical styles), Musical Family Comedy (based on the story line) or simply Disney Musical because Disney is, indeed, its own genre.
he took a friend to an audition and he could not get the song right and otis song it
