In the Old Testament the people of Israel were taught to go to their appropriate place in the Tabernacle, or later one of the two Temples, to meet God there. During the wandering in the wilderness, the presence of God was shown by a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night. God's presence was external in those days. Today God dwells within each believer through the Holy Spirit (Hebrews 3:6, I Corinthians 3:16, 6:19). Why, then, are we still called to not "forsake the assembling of ourselves together, as is the habit of some?" Church should be a place where Christians come together in one accord to be taught the word of God, to worship God, and to fellowship together. For the non-Christian, a church should be the place where they can find out about Christ, be instructed in why and how to allow Him in, and take the first steps towards life in Him. Church isn't only about coming to worship and learn about God. Another part is fellowship with other Christians. This encourages and reminds that there are other people that have the same problems we do. It stregthens our friendships with other Christians and gives us chances to outreach to non-Christians. Acts 7:48 Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,
Idk probably not but you don't have to go to church to know that you believe in God which he does

Most definately
yes she love God very very much much. She was a firm believer. Go Taylor!
The reason people bother with the church is that many people are religious and believe that they must attend church to be close to ones "God". Church is where some people go to pray and find peace.
God is not Church and Church is not God. Each person has their own relationship with God and it doesnt rely on whether you go to Church or not, its all about how you live your life. You can be close to God anywhere because God is everywhere.
Well I know I don't, I worship God whenever I feel the need! You should worship God everywhere you go whether it's downstairs, on the road, or at school, but definitely in church!
God doesn't have to "go up" into the clouds. God is everywhere.
The bible is very clear that God is omnipresent. That means everywhere present. We are taught that if we go to the highest heavens he is there. If we go to the deepest sea he is there. There is no where we can go and hide from God.
You aren't required, but it is a sign of respect for the minister, and the purpose of the building. It also isn't very bible based; if God is everywhere, so why wouldn't you dress up everywhere?
Church to which God?
they did not go to church because they thought that they were to famous for church and god
You will have to go and spread the word of God everywhere.
He attends a Church of God In Christ
no it's not pointless. God listens to your prayer whether or not you go to church. He wants you to live by Him, not just "go to church".
they go there to do praying , worship God .
